COVID-19
As we continue to assess the COVID-19 situation in Monroe County, we will do our absolute best to ensure all NLDC families are informed of any new or changing policies and safety procedures.
March 1, 2022:
In light of Gov. Hochul's Sunday announcement and Monroe County agreement, masks will be optional at Next Level Dance Center starting Wednesday, March 2.
We encourage parents that feel the need for continued masking of their children to do so — and for those that opt not to mask to respect everyone's personal decision.
There may be a variety of reasons why families may choose to wear a mask and their choice will be openly supported just as much as those who are choosing not to mask.
Thank you for your patience and understanding while we navigated this difficult situation. It's because of your support that NLDC remains a safe and joyful place for our dancers.
January 10, 2022:
At the start of our dance season in September, we decided to re-assess the COVID-19 situation within Monroe County every 60 days. This approach allows us to adapt as it pertains to masking and other safety protocols in our studio. We were hoping things would have steadily improve, but with our current Covid-19 numbers we are unable to change any of our current protocols.
The following will stay in place until the end of our dance season in June. We will reassess prior to our Summer session.
Masking:
We are asking EVERYONE who enters the NLDC space to continue to wear a mask that completely covers your nose and mouth. If you arrive without a mask you will have to return to your car. We cannot provide masks for individuals at this time.
Dancers who have dinner/snack breaks in between classes will be asked to socially distance.
Quarantined?
We ask dance parents to adhere to school district recommendations for quarantine & testing regarding your dancer's participation. If your child is approved to return to school they are welcome to continue classes at NLDC. If your child is not approved to return to school and is required to quarantine then we ask you keep your child at home. Please be sure to e-mail the office as soon as possible if your dancer is in quarantine.
Not Feeling Well?
Any dancer, faculty member, or parent that has experienced flu-like or COVID-19 symptoms in the last 7 days is asked to stay home until they feel better. Please ensure you have informed the office if your dancer will be absent from class.
Thank you for your support and continuing to keep NLDC a safe and joyful place to dance!
November 9, 2021:
Dear NLDC Families,
We said we would continue to assess the COVID-19 situation in our area and update our policies every 60 days. That time has come, and unfortunately Monroe County is still considered a "high" transmission area. Therefore, we will not be changing any masking policies and will continue to ask all visitors, students, faculty, and staff to remain masked while inside the NLDC space. We will assess the situation again in 60 days.
We continue to look forward to providing a joyful and safe environment for you all!
Thank you all for your support & understanding.
September 8, 2021:
Dear NLDC Families,
As the start of classes draws nearer... (2 days! But who's counting?!) We look forward to providing a joyful and safe environment to keep your dancer happy and healthy. The plan below, coupled with personal responsibility, presents NLDC's best efforts to keep our dancers, families, and faculty safe.
Face Coverings
Masks are requested for all dancers, visitors and faculty regardless of vaccination status who enter the NLDC space.
Dancers/faculty who are sensitive to dancing in masks may take masks breaks when they use the restrooms.
Our waiting room is open, but we ask you to keep social distancing in mind when waiting for your dancer.
Not Feeling Well?
Any dancer, faculty, or parent that has experienced flu-like or COVID-19 symptoms in the last 7 days is asked to stay home until they feel better. Please ensure you have informed the office if your dancer will be absent from class.
We will continue to asses the situation and will update this policy every 60 days based on current CDC guidelines.
Thank you all for your support & understanding.
We look forward to seeing you in the studio!

At this time, we are still assessing the situation. We ask for your patience as we navigate the complicated nature of the ever changing recommendations from NYS/CDC.
