Meet Lindsay…
Born in Rochester, NY, Lindsay began her dance training at four years old at Deborah McKay School of Dance. She finished her high school dance career at DK Dance where she performed on the competition team in the realms of contemporary, jazz, lyrical, and tap. Lindsay also has extensive training in modern and hip hop styles of dance. She entered her freshman year of college at Alfred University where she majored in Studio Art and Dance. She quickly became part of the schools audition based company team. She then transferred to the University at Buffalo where she studied Studio Art, Psychology, and Art History. She participated in an audition based dance team for the remaining three years.
Lindsay has an Advanced Masters Degree in School Psychology with a concentration in Trauma. During her time at SUNY Oswego, where she obtained her masters, she taught classes and choreographed dances for undergraduate students to perform.
She returned back to Rochester to continue her career as a School Psychologist in the Rochester City School District. At this time she taught classes at a local studio in hip hop, ballet, tap, and jazz. Lindsay has been awarded overall high scores for her competition team hip hop dances.
