UNDERGARMENTS FOR COMPANY DANCERS (teen & juniors)

A few factors play into selecting the best undergarments for your dancer :
1) How much support does the dancer need on top?
2) The costume (is it backless? Is it a Uni-tard that will show straps & lines? Does it have full straps and coverage?)
3) Comfort level of the dancer (some dancers have no issues going completely nude underneath their costume, and others may want a little more coverage).

ON THE BOTTOM…

It’s HIGHLY SUGGESTED that teens DO NOT wear any underwear with their costumes.
This is standard in the dance world and it may take some time getting used to if a dancer is not already practicing this in class.
If the dancer MUST wear underwear, please find a seamless thong option (see Target link below).

ON THE TOP…

For dancers who may need full support on top, we suggest investing in a bra that allows you to go strapless and also has straps that can be adjusted into different patterns while still providing the support your dancer needs.

Dancers who may not need the extra support may be most comfortable with “Breast Petals” or a simple nude bralette (See DDS/Target options below). Victoria Secret also has options.

We cannot select the BEST option for YOU, because YOU are the only one who can decide what you’re comfortable with.

We just ask that bra straps are hidden and ALL UNDERGARMENTS do not show lines through the costume.
